After you place a potion on the balancing scale, press the middle button to haggle. However, the Alchemical Practice Talent causes consumed experience tokens to occasionally be replaced by green markers which function equivalently. After saving that recipe into your Recipe Book, press the button in the bottom right of the book to instantly brew the potion. Once an experience marker is consumed, it will not reappear. Touching one of these with the potion marker will cause it to disappear while awarding a quantity of experience based on the number of books. Scattered throughout the map are brown circles containing one to five books ranging from small to very big. Just remember: the whole town is counting on you. You’re in full control of the whole shop: invent new recipes, attract customers and experiment to your heart’s content. A bone will embolden and wiggle while it is in contact with the potion marker. Potion Craft is an alchemist simulator where you physically interact with your tools and ingredients to brew potions. I have found a way to get the very big book now though, 1. I havent met the dwarf since the update Im wondering if Ive missed something because Ive been playing a long while now (on day 26). The liquid in the potion marker will refill as soon as the marker is not touching any bones. Stone ingredients you get from the dwarf can teleport you through bones. Motion while in contact with bones will cause the liquid inside the potion marker to slowly deplete: when the potion is empty, it fails, causing all progress (including invested ingredients) to be lost, and resetting the potion to its blank state. When arrived in the center, the potion will be moved to a nearby location on the map. If the potion marker is touching the whirlpool (indicated by a darkening of its lines), the potion will be carried around in the direction of motion, gradually moving towards its center. These spiral marks respond to the bellows, rotating in the direction of their lines based on the current heat of the cauldron. The effect is imbued with a tier-I, II, or III-occupying a like number of the 5 spaces on a potion with the effect symbol, depending on how closely the potion marker is centered on the effect marker when the bellows are used. After the first time an effect is imbued, its marker will instead display a symbol corresponding to the effect. An effect can be imbued into a brewing potion by using the bellows while the potion marker is touching the effect marker. These silhouettes mirror the outline of the bottle which traverses the Map through the process of brewing, and each initially contains a question mark.
